Münster, October 27, 2026 – The continued operation of wibutler is guaranteed. New owners from the technology sector have taken over the business and are continuing it as wibutler GmbH. Existing wibutler systems continue to operate as usual.
At the same time, the company is reorganizing. Under the guiding principle of „networking that pays off,“ wibutler brings together modular energy automation, connected building technology, and project support under one roof. The mission: to make residential buildings more easily networked and to use energy more economically – from planning to operation.
Networking that pays off
wibutler focuses on two target groups: home builders and modular builders in serial construction as well as housing companies and property owners with serial renovation projects. For both, the following applies: Recurring building types and comparable requirements can be efficiently implemented with standardized concepts. Compatible products and preconfigured systems result in coordinated overall solutions that can be transferred from project to project.
wibutler accompanies residential building projects from planning through prefabrication and installation to commissioning. It also remains the point of contact for questions and optimization during ongoing operation.
The economic benefits begin already during implementation. Fewer interfaces and clearly coordinated processes reduce the coordination effort. Standardized concepts and preconfigured technology reduce planning effort, assembly time, and rework. In operation, energy automation uses energy as needed to provide heat and electricity, thus reducing operating costs. Monitoring makes energy flows and operational data visible and provides the basis for further optimization.
Platform independent of manufacturers as a basis
The basis of the offering is the vendor-independent wibutler platform. It connects devices from various manufacturers and coordinates functions for heating, power, and comfort – such as demand-driven heating control, targeted use of PV excess power, and smart metering and monitoring. Preconfigured systems for heating, room climate, and electrical installation complement the portfolio.
The platform will continue to be expanded: additional compatible devices and applications as well as new features are planned. wibutler will soon inform about extensions and new offerings.
