A new firmware version (2.46) is available for download for the wibutler pro. This adds the following three new features to the list of compatible devices:
- Battery-free EnOcean actuator FKS-SV (Eltako)
- Vitoair centralised ventilation unit (Viessmann)
- Vitoplanar built-in switch thermostat (Viessmann)
To install the update, start the wibutler app, go to the Configuration section and open the settings. You can then update the software of your wibutler pro under Firmware update.
Eltako FKS-SV
Battery-free EnOcean actuator
The EnOcean actuator from Eltako is used to efficiently control radiators in private homes and commercial premises. Its great advantage: thanks to thermal energy harvesting between the radiator and the room (rT>4K), it works without batteries or wires, so there is no need for regular battery changes. To ensure proper functioning at all times, it has an additional internal memory. This can be recharged via micro USB if required. The Eltako FKS-SV uses the bidirectional EnOcean protocol EEP-A5-20-01 to communicate with wibutler.
With wibutler the Actuator Part of the demand-led heating and individual room control system. It can be used with all known functions and options:

Viessmann Vitoair
Central ventilation unit
The Vitoair domestic ventilation system from Viessmann is suitable for ventilating and deaerating residential buildings. For healthy indoor air without compromise, it has an integrated preheater coil in addition to an integrated air filter. The flexible ceiling, wall or floor installation of the appliance is particularly suitable for new builds.
Communication between Vitoair and wibutler takes place via the ViCare account. Once the ventilation unit has been programmed, the familiar functions and benefits of the wibutler energy OS are available:
- Maximum efficiency: Heating (e.g. with a heat pump), cooling and ventilation are optimally harmonised
- Mould protectionSimple networking with external sensors (e.g. humidity sensor)

Viessmann Vitoplanar
Built-in switch thermostat
The Vitoplanar built-in switch thermostat from Viessmann is used to network your underfloor heating, electric infrared heater, rapid heater or wall vector with wibutler. The thermostat has a floor temperature sensor (3m, extendable up to 50m), a touch display and is mounted on a flush-mounted box using a cover frame. Bidirectional communication with wibutler takes place via a local TCP/IP standard.
It is particularly impressive in combination with electric direct heating systems wherever heat is needed at the touch of a button. For example, in the bathroom, conservatory or hobby cellar. Networking the Vitoplanar built-in switch thermostat and wibutler makes control even easier and heat generation even more energy efficient.

Tips & Tricks
Help with your firmware update
To use the full range of functions of wibutler, you need a smartphone or tablet with the operating system iOS version 9 or higher or Android version 5 or higher. Also make sure that you have the latest version of the wibutler app installed.
