Traditional weather-compensated control relies solely on the outside temperature – often leading to overheated rooms or sluggish heating, especially during seasonal transitions. wibutler takes a smarter approach: it uses precise temperature readings from individual rooms to control heating more efficiently. For example, wibutler connects a DAIKIN heat pump with ELTAKO temperature sensors and radiator thermostats from Viessmann or Oventrop – all working together seamlessly.
This means that heat generation can be precisely matched to the current demand - which means less energy consumption and rooms that are always at the optimum temperature.
PV & smart metering
With Energy Cockpit you can monitor thermal and electrical energy flows at a glance – and prioritise how PV surplus is used. For example, excess solar energy can be directed to charge an electric car or heat a thermal storage tank.
Smart Lighting
Automate lighting scenarios, increase energy efficiency and ensure greater convenience. wibutler offers various options for integrating lighting - both via centralised and decentralised actuators. The comprehensive BEGA Smart System is supported, as are smart light sources that can be retrofitted at any time. Push-buttons from ELTAKO, JUNG and Busch-Jaeger are available for operation.
Intuitive automations can be set up in the wibutler-App: Motion detectors ensure that light is only switched on when it is really needed. Brightness sensors adjust the light intensity to the daylight. This allows the light to be controlled flexibly - from simple on/off switching to the adjustment of colour temperatures and brightness, fully automatically or manually.
Smart shading
With wibutler, you can control roller shutters, blinds and awnings automatically. This not only saves time, but also protects your building with the summer heat protection from overheating. In combination with weather sensors, the shading can be controlled automatically depending on the amount of sunlight. This keeps the house at a pleasant temperature without anyone having to intervene. At the same time, the shading can be automatically protected against storm damage by sensors.

With the Alarm function: a customisable security automation can be created – including delay or deactivation options as needed. Motion detectors, such as those from JUNG, can trigger reliable intrusion alerts in combination with smart sirens from ELTAKO. At the same time, lights can switch on automatically to deter potential intruders.
Water protection
Detect leaks at an early stage and prevent expensive water damage. For example, an ELTAKO water sensor can detect damage immediately. A leakage protection device from SYR goes one step further and automatically switches off the water as soon as a leak is detected.
Fire protection
In an emergency, every second counts: Smart smoke detectors from ELTAKO or Busch-Jaeger can automatically turn on the lights, open shutters and light up escape routes. All connected via wibutler.
Ventilation
Whether centralised or decentralised – wibutler ensures efficient fresh air supply. A central ventilation system from Viessmann, for example, can be automatically controlled in combination with air quality sensors from ELTAKO. When air quality drops, the air exchange rate increases – for a healthy indoor climate without wasting energy.
