We are a young and dynamic team of IoT pioneers, design directors, cloud architects and tech junkies. Some of us can write code in our sleep and others can install electronic control systems. Spin-off from Münster University of Applied Sciences with financial support from the Federal Ministry of Economics
2015
Market launch of the wibutler pro smart home gateway (1. Gen.) in Germany
2018
As a manufacturer-open system, wibutler becomes part of the large Viessmann family
2020
Founding of the wibutler alliance e.V. with the aim of promoting digital building technology in a holistic and sustainable way

The second generation of the wibutler pro smart home gateway celebrates its market launch
2022
BEGA, Eltako, Oventrop and Viessmann establish the joint venture DBT Digital Building Technology GmbH & Co. KG and have been developing the wibutler technology together ever since.

Gebr. Kemper becomes our fifth wibutler shareholder.
