Update your wibutler app now to get wibutler pro control centres up and running faster
Taking the first step is often difficult. But now there's no reason for you to be shy any more. With app version 2.12, we have completely revised the initial setup of a wibutler pro. You can now experience the first steps of your commissioning in fast-forward mode.

Speed is not everything. It also depends on the right technology. With the new app update, we are therefore not only significantly shortening the time required for commissioning, but also simplifying your work as an installer. From app version 2.12, we now offer you the option of commissioning the wibutler pro for yourself or a customer for the first time.
The wibutler app also has good manners and proves to be an attentive listener. It automatically recognises whether there is a control panel in the network that has not yet been set up and suggests it for commissioning. In addition, important settings are queried directly and automatically linked in the background so that they do not have to be entered repeatedly.
Set up as an installer
The new app update can prove to be a real hit for your daily work as an installer, saving you a lot of time. The wibutler app automatically recognises the wibutler you want to put into operation and gives you the option of setting it up for yourself or one of your customers.
If you carry out the commissioning for a customer, you only carry out the basic setup. Your customer will carry out the remaining steps, such as setting up their own wibutler ID, later on. Your setup will of course remain saved.
The QR code printed on the service card saves you having to enter basic information manually.
To make it easier for you to service a wibutler pro that has already been set up, we have also revised the centre selection. You no longer need to make any manual entries to log in as a service user. Instead, all you need to do is scan the corresponding service card.
Offline setup
A lack of internet connection on the construction site is definitely no longer a reason to disconnect. From now on, you can use wibutler offline even more easily. Simply click on „I can't find my wibutler“. The QR code printed on the service card will guide you through activating the access point and then logging in as a service user. Your smartphone will automatically switch to the wibutler's access point WLAN so that you no longer have to leave the wibutler app to change the network manually.

Own use
Of course, you can still conveniently set up a wibutler pro for yourself. Open the wibutler app, which automatically recognises when there is a device on the same network that is looking forward to moving in with you. Then scan the QR code located below the wibutler to save valuable time.
If you already have a Cloud ID and are logged in with it, this is automatically used for the remote access of the created admin and device registration.

As in any good partnership, there are a few basic little things to consider to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Firstly, an app version of 2.12 or higher is required. To be able to use all the functions as described, the firmware version of the control centre should be at least 2.41. A tablet or smartphone with a camera is also required.
