Münster, 06 October 2025 - With the integration of QUNDIS devices into the Professional Smart Building platform from wibutler, the digitalisation of technical building equipment is taking a further step towards simplicity, efficiency and networking. Housing companies can now visualise, manage and monitor heat cost allocators, heat meters and water meters from QUNDIS directly in the wibutler Cockpit.

Platform instead of isolated solutions

wibutler Professional Smart Building is a manufacturer-independent platform for the simple networking of technical building equipment in residential and non-residential buildings. It reduces complexity by providing a centralised digital infrastructure - without traditional system integration and with significantly less configuration effort than conventional building management systems.

At the centre is the Smart Building Cockpit, a browser-based software for the cross-location management of properties. Among other things, it enables the centralised control, fault diagnosis and monitoring of building technology.

Qundis integration: centralised consumption data recording

The direct connection of the QUNDIS Smart Metering Platform (QSMP) to the Cockpit eliminates the need for operators to use separate portals in parallel. Consumption data from QUNDIS meters is visualised automatically, error statuses are displayed centrally and relevant events are logged systematically. The import of multiple gateways per property is also fully supported.

For the housing industry, this means

  • Standardised data management instead of multiple maintenance
  • Faster response to faults thanks to e-mail notification of errors
  • Simplified monitoring of operational safety across several properties
  • Future-proof integration into an open platform with additional automation options

„The integration of QUNDIS is a logical step towards standardised consumption recording and efficient building operation,“ explains Patrick Toddenroth, Product Owner Professional Smart Building at wibutler. „This opens up new opportunities for small and medium-sized housing companies in particular to gradually digitalise their portfolio - without expensive individual solutions or isolated logics.“

The QUNDIS network has already been successfully trialled in joint projects with the first properties. It is now available to all partners.
On the Heikom, which will take place on 22 and 23 October in Erfurt, visitors will be able to experience the networking of QUNDIS with wibutler live.
