No more configuration for craft businesses

With the new pre-configuration service, wibutler offers a practical solution to two of the most pressing challenges in the building sector: the growing pressure to renovate and the ongoing shortage of skilled labour. The otherwise complex and time-consuming configuration of energy-efficient smart home systems is almost completely eliminated. Specialist electrical and HVAC companies can now offer modern, intelligent building technology - without the need for in-depth familiarisation with system architectures or time-consuming programming work on the construction site.

Using the pre-configuration service is very simple: specialist companies order the required devices on a project-related basis in the wibutler shop and select the „preconfigured“ option. They then submit project-specific information - such as the building structure - via an online form. On this basis, wibutler takes over the complete configuration. This includes the initial commissioning of the wibutler pro gateway, the teach-in of all ordered devices and their logical assignment in the digital building. In addition, wibutler creates a backup and prepares comprehensive project documentation.

The added value for tradespeople: pre-configuration reduces smart home installation to a minimum, saves time on the construction site and makes handover to the customer easier. Specialist companies no longer have to deal with the commissioning or digital networking of the devices, but can concentrate fully on their trade-specific tasks. This means that even cross-manufacturer projects can be realised professionally - all that is needed is to wire the components correctly. The entire configuration is already done. This makes intelligent building technology accessible to significantly more companies.

Practical proof of the relevance and suitability for everyday use of the pre-configuration service is provided by the solid construction house manufacturer Heinz von Heiden with its new house series Modicus,. With a price per square metre of less than €2,000, the aim was still to offer contemporary living comfort - a challenge that was met by using preconfigured smart home technology, among other things. Wireless actuators from the Eltako 14 series were used - centrally mounted in the distribution board and preconfigured for direct use with wibutler. No time-consuming chiselling work or additional measures are required for the smart functions: installation is clean, quick and requires no structural work. wibutler takes care of the complete configuration of all components in advance. The result: a fully-fledged smart home solution that can be realised economically and efficiently, even in the price-conscious segment.

With its pre-configuration service, wibutler harmonises professional smart home technology with the practical requirements of the trade. Digital building technology is a key lever for greater energy efficiency and sustainability in the building sector - but in practice it is often a challenge for specialised companies. This is precisely where wibutler comes in: The service makes it possible to implement smart technology with minimal installation effort. In this way, efficient building technology does not remain theoretical, but becomes a practical solution - economical, efficient and craftsman-friendly.

No more configuration on the construction site: wibutler relieves specialist companies with preconfigured smart home technology.

The new pre-configuration service from wibutler responds to two key challenges in the building sector: a shortage of skilled labour and increasing demands for energy-efficient building technology. A current project with Heinz von Heiden shows how smart solutions can be implemented economically and in a tradesman-friendly way - without adding complexity to the day-to-day work of tradesmen.
