Smart lighting has many advantages - for tradespeople and end users alike. It makes everyday life more convenient, protects your home, saves energy and adapts flexibly to individual needs. With wibutler, networking lighting is not only easy, but you will also find suitable solutions for a wide range of requirements: from simple retrofitting to complex installations.
Whether you need to control individual lamps or entire lighting systems - wibutler offers the right solution for every project. Answer. Here we show you five ways to make lighting smart with wibutler.
1.
Screw in & get started
Smart light sources
The smart light bulbs from BEGA (see image) make it very easy to get started. Screw an E14 or E27 bulb into the existing lamp socket, simply network it with wibutler and control it conveniently via app, voice control or automation rule. Choose between warm white (W), tunable white (TW) or RGBW light sources and customise your lighting to suit different moods and purposes.
Application exampleDo you want to start your favourite series? Then you can use smart light sources to set the right light colour and brightness, e.g. for a cosy living room atmosphere.
2.
Socket becomes smart
Smart adapter plug
A smart adapter plug is the perfect solution for light sources with a Schuko plug. Simply plug it into the socket, connect the light source and connect it to wibutler. With smart adapter plugs, no changes to the existing electrical system are necessary. This makes them ideal for smaller retrofits.
Application example: Use a smart adapter plug to switch the floor lamp in the hallway or the decorative fairy lights on and off using a timer or motion detector.
3.
Invisible & powerful
Flush-mounted actuators
Flush-mounted actuators are integrated directly into existing switch boxes. These wireless actuators are available in both switching and dimming versions and can be seamlessly networked with wibutler. This makes them perfect for quick and cost-effective installation - both in retrofits and in new-build projects.
Application example: With flush-mounted actuators, you can integrate your conventional lighting into the smart home without any major installation effort and realise central lighting control throughout the house. How about a central switch at the front door, for example? No problem!
4.
Maximum power
Modular appliances
Ideal for larger installations: Central top-hat rail or bus actuators offer switching and dimming functions for several lights at the same time. The new FUD14/800W RS485 bus actuator universal dimmer switch (see image) from ELTAKO is a real highlight here. With this bus actuator, you can network up to 800 watts with wibutler - i.e. particularly powerful lamps or several light sources at the same time.
Application example: Simply networking up to 800 watts with wibutler offers extensive possibilities. For example, you can use it to control all the lighting in offices and training rooms smartly and ensure that it remains switched off outside business hours.
5.
All-round carefree
BEGA Smart
The BEGA Smart system offers a wide selection of high-quality luminaires for indoor and outdoor use. All BEGA Smart-compatible luminaires can be networked and controlled via wibutler. It enables seamless integration into an existing smart home system while offering a wide variety of designs.
Application example: Illuminate your patio perfectly. BEGA Smart offers matching ceiling lights or spotlights, which you can then programme in various scenarios.
