You can now save electricity costs when operating your DAIKIN Altherma 3 heat pump. Thanks to the new compatibility with wibutler, demand-controlled heating and individual room control are available for the first time, which is up to 35% more energy-efficient. In addition, cross-manufacturer networking with wibutler enables you to utilise further new functions for your heat pump. These include the cooling function and energy monitoring. For tradespeople, networking with wibutler offers yet another advantage - keyword „second heating circuit“. Read on to find out more.

Advantages with wibutler
Once you have updated your wibutler pro firmware to the latest version (2.51), you can programme your DAIKIN Altherma 3 heat pump in the wibutler app. You will then benefit from new functions:
Demand-led heating & individual room control
By default, the Altherma heat pump follows a weather-compensated control system. But with wibutler, you can now regulate the flow temperature based on the actual heat requirement of your home. Corresponding temperature sensors from various manufacturers can record the actual temperatures of your rooms, whereupon wibutler compares these with the set target temperatures and regulates your heat pump so that only the exact amount of energy is consumed that is actually required. You benefit from a lower electricity bill and perfectly tempered rooms at all times.
Cooling function
wibutler also offers you a cooling function for your DAIKIN Altherma 3 heat pump. You can also connect your heat pump with Underfloor heating thermostats from Oventrop, Viessmann, Eltako or Busch-Jaeger. Your home is then cooled in summer via your underfloor heating.
Record power consumption
With wibutler, you can also keep an eye on the power consumption of your heat pump at all times. All you need is a compatible Electricity meter whose values are visualised in the wibutler app.
Second heating circuit
Compatibility with wibutler also brings new benefits when it comes to commissioning the DAIKIN heat pump. A second heating circuit can now be conveniently set via the wibutler app and no longer needs to be configured via the heat pump control panel.
