Until recently, the energy bills of the DB Schenker branch in Crailsheim were off the charts. The reasons for the excessive energy consumption quickly became clear. Initially, precise temperature control was not possible, which meant that the radiators were often too hot. If the employees opened the windows to air the room, the heating simply continued to run at a high temperature. The premises continued to be heated even outside office hours. As soon as a window is opened for ventilation, the heating in the corresponding office is lowered.
