Münster, 26 July 2023 - Compatibility with wibutler now opens up innovative possibilities for operators of a Stiebel Eltron heat pump to network their system. The wibutler energy OS maximises the energy efficiency of the heat pump and also ensures that operators can keep an eye on their electricity consumption and generation at all times. Tecalor heat pumps also benefit from the new advantages.
Heat pumps from Stiebel Eltron are now compatible with wibutler. With the help of the corresponding communication module, operators can now connect their entire system, including heat pump, heating circuits, outdoor temperature sensor, remote control and hot water preparation, to wibutler in just one step. Thanks to cross-manufacturer and cross-trade networking, these can then be controlled more efficiently.
Seamless integration into the wibutler energy OS makes Stiebel Eltron heat pumps part of a holistic energy management system that takes both electrical and thermal energy flows into account. Instead of following the weather like conventional systems, the heat generation of Stiebel Eltron heat pumps can be adapted to the individual requirements of the building with wibutler. To do this, wibutler brings together the individual room control, heat distribution and heat generation across all manufacturers. The optimised control of the wibutler energy OS provides system operators with a high increase in efficiency. They benefit from lower electricity costs and a high level of living comfort at the same time.
In addition, wibutler enables heat pump operators to transparently measure the electricity consumption of their heat pump and other consumers. wibutler can also track electricity generation, for example from PV systems. The meters required for this are easy to install so that existing systems can also be integrated without any problems.
The wibutler energy OS also makes it possible to optimise the use of self-generated electricity. In addition to charging the buffer storage tank with PV energy, various applications are possible. In future, all energy flows in the house will also be visualised in a clear dashboard. In addition to the values of individual consumers and generators, users will also be able to view the energy self-sufficiency level of their home at any time. Apart from Stiebel Eltron heat pumps, the new options also apply to Tecalor appliances.
In addition to the heating system, system operators can also integrate numerous other devices into the system in order to live more energy-efficiently, comfortably and safely. More than 350 devices from over 40 different manufacturers are compatible with wibutler.
Thanks to wibutler, tradespeople benefit from quick and easy commissioning of the system and the individual components. Additional services such as remote maintenance are also available to them.
