Daikin, Kampmann and Sontex become members of the wibutler alliance
Münster, 15 June 2023 - With Dakin, Kampmann and Sontex, the wibutler alliance has gained three new partners. This brings the company network a big step closer to its goal of offering holistic and independent solutions for the building energy transition. The planned integrations promise high energy savings for system operators, simplification for tradespeople and more efficient processes in the area of property management.
Leading position in the heat pump sector
Daikin is a leading global manufacturer of heat pumps, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The partnership with wibutler aims to network Daikin heat pumps across manufacturers and trades. The resulting possibilities, particularly in the area of individual room and heating control as well as energy management, promise high savings potential for system operators. In addition, operators and tradespeople will benefit from the partnership, as they will be able to draw on information gathered from harmonised solutions.
Simple and fast processes for the trade
The new partnership between Kampmann and wibutler aims to simplify the installation and maintenance of ventilation systems and fan coils for office, commercial and industrial buildings. In view of the shortage of skilled labour, Kampmann wants to make work easier for tradespeople in particular with simple and fast processes. To achieve this, the company will be relying on IoT technologies from wibutler in future. In addition to the development of its own IoT backend, various digital services are planned.
Efficient property management
Sontex offers innovative metering systems for the energy market, the first of which will be heat cost allocators compatible with wibutler. This product integration into the wibutler range of solutions is aimed in particular at property managers and corresponding service providers. In future, they will be able to offer customers a comprehensive range of services including digital billing services.
Cloud-based platform for smart buildings
The wibutler IoT device platform forms the technical basis for the product integrations envisaged by Kampmann and Sontex. This cloud-based platform networks digital device twins and makes them available for various applications and services. In the course of the planned integrations, the LoRaWAN standard will also be used for the first time.
Holistic solutions for the energy transition
The wibutler alliance now has over 40 members, including numerous manufacturers of air conditioning and heating appliances. Together with them, Kampmann, Sontex and Daikin will develop a holistic and independent range of solutions for a successful energy transition in the future.
